When I purchase the VG-540 or VG-640 will the inks be included in the printer box?

Answer

The VG series currently offers these ink configurations: These inks are not included in the box and must be ordered by your dealer.

All ink pouches are 500cc.

4 color option: CMYK Your Dealer will need to order the following inks.

Quantity 2 of each color- TR-CY (Cyan), TR-MG (Magenta) TR-BL (Black) and TR-YE (Yellow). Total of 8 ink pouches required at install.

Quantity 1 of TR-CL (Cleaning Cartridge) for the VG Series Wiper System.

7 color option: CMYKLcLmLK Your Dealer will need to order the following inks.

Quantity 1 of each color- TR-CY (Cyan), TR-BL (Black), TR-YE (Yellow), TR-Lc (Lite Cyan), TR-Lm (Lite Magenta) and TR-Lk (Lite Black)

Quantity 2 of: TR-MG (Magenta). Note: Must have 2 magenta ink pouches to run the VG printer with 7 color set up.

Total of 8 ink pouches required at install.

Quantity 1 of TR-CL (Cleaning Cartridge) for the VG Series Wiper cleaning System.

Roland does include 2 TR-CL ink pouches in with the printer accessories. These are used for performing a head wash at the beginning of the install. The residual or remaining cleaning fluid after the head wash routine is minimal and not enough to satisfy the volume needed for the wiper cleaning system (cleaning fluid pouch installed on the right hand side frame of the printer).

8 color option: CMYKLcLmLKWt This option will be made available early summer 2016.
