Orbus Exhibit & Display Group is a full service trade show manufacturing company based in Woodridge, Illinois. Its brand divisions, Orbus 365, Origins, Nimlok and SignPro Systems, provide its partners, dealers, distributors and resellers with trade show display products, support and service.

Orbus offers a wide range of custom sublimated fabric exhibit graphics. “Sublimation, either through heat transfer or direct-to-fabric, is a popular solution for exhibit graphics. The fabrics are dynamic, colorful and easy to fold and ship,” said Jaime Lynn Herand, VP and Director of Graphic Operations for Orbus.

Orbus relies on three Roland DG SOLJET 104-inch grand format printers to assist with its sublimated graphics production. Carter Church is one of the company’s print supervisors. “The SOLJETs consistently provide excellent output and are easy to work with and maintain,” he said.

Orbus produces an impressive variety of sublimation work, including fabric hanging structures, back wall displays, pillowcase graphics and table throws. Sublimation project sizes vary from hanging structures 300-900 inches long and 3-6 feet high, to 8 x 10-foot and 8 x 20-foot back wall displays.

“Our customers can definitely rely on us for consistent, high-end quality graphics. Roland DG's grand format printers are an integral part of our sublimated production.”

Orbus sublimates graphics onto a variety of fabrics including polyester stretch, poly cloth, a range of sheer materials, and satin. Recently the company has seen an increase in demand for backlit materials. “Our ability to sublimate graphics onto any polyester-based fabric means the options are pretty much unlimited,” said Carter.

Orbus has seen significant growth in its Origin fabric architecture division. “Our Roland DGs have had no issues with the additional production, and they allow us to print direct to fabric as well,” said Jaime.

“Our customers can definitely rely on us for consistent, high-end quality graphics. Roland DG’s grand format printers are an integral part of our sublimated production,” said Jaime.
