Roland DGA’s UV DTF Transfer System makes it quick and easy to apply stunning pre-printed UV ink graphics to irregularly shaped objects that are difficult or impossible to print on directly, or not suitable for regular vinyl decals. With our UV DTF Transfer System, decorating even ornate items, including those with uneven surfaces, rounded corners, and extended lips or edges, is simple. Plus, the process requires just a few steps, so anyone – even those with no printing experience – can customize or personalize just about anything.
- Complete UV direct-to-film (UV DTF) transfer system allows you to add vibrant graphics to irregularly shaped substrates and three-dimensional items that can’t be printed on directly using a UV-LED device.
- Roland DGA offers all the necessary UV DTF Transfer System components – the UV flatbed printer, UV DTF Print Sheets, and UV DTF Transfer Film (each sold separately).
- Customers can use any of the following printers for UV DTF applications: VersaOBJECT MO Series bench-top UV flatbed printers, VersaSTUDIO BD Series desktop UV flatbed printers, VersaOBJECT CO-i Series large-format UV flatbed printers.
- Current Roland DG LEF2 Series UV flatbed owners can also produce UV DTF graphics using their existing printers.

Roland DGA offers everything you need to perform UV DTF applications – the UV printer (either a VersaOBJECT MO Series, VersaSTUDIO BD Series, or VersaOBJECT CO-i Series flatbed), specially formulated UV inks*, UV DTF Print Sheets (available in packs of 25 pcs), and UV DTF Transfer Film (available in 82 ft. rolls). If you already have a MO Series, BD Series, or CO-i Series flatbed printer, you can simply purchase the necessary components.

In Five Easy Steps
Roland DGA’s UV DTF System workflow makes transferring even complex UV graphics with dimensional and textural special effects a breeze! Create one-of-a-kind customized and personalized products in just five easy steps:
Print Sheets
Print the graphic onto a UV DTF print sheet using the selected UV flatbed printer (with either V-BOND or EUV5 inks, depending on the printer model).
Peel Back
Overlay UV DTF Transfer Film onto the print, then peel away from backer sheet.
Clean
Thoroughly clean and dry the surface of the item you wish to place your UV DTF transfer.
Transfer
Transfer to desired object using light manual pressure.
Peel Front
Gently peel away to remove the UV DTF Transfer Film (some items may use heat gun for removal around corners or irregular shapes).
Final Result
Roland DGA’s Graphic Transfer System enables you to print colorful, detailed UV graphics and transfer them quickly and easily to a wide variety of substrates and objects with irregular surface structures.
The VersaOBJECT MO-240 and VersaSTUDIO BD-8 deliver unsurpassed image quality, allowing users to print vivid graphics onto the GTS Print Sheets for transfer. MO-240 users also have the option of incorporating unique dimensional and textural effects.
EUV5 UV Inks are durable, scratch resistant, and cost-effective. They also adhere well to many different materials and substrates, allowing for great-looking, long-lasting transferred graphics.
