Affordable Signs and Wraps   |   Pinellas, Florida

Efrain Yepes, founder of Affordable Signs and Wraps in Pinellas, Florida, has owned gas stations, convenience stores, commercial real estate and other companies,

But when the recession hit in 2008, he looked around for a business that wasn’t affected by market forces.  “When you go outside, you see four things: people, real estate, signs and cars,” he said.  “I decided to open a business that serves both signs and cars."

“My best advertisement is my work – the quality and color we produce on our VG-540 are second to none and regularly get us new business.”

Yepes launched Affordable Signs and Wraps in 2010. Since then, he and his business partner have been producing signs and vehicle graphics to the great satisfaction of their clients.

Top Print Quality Brings Results
Anchoring their production is a Roland DG TrueVIS VG-540 large format printer/cutter, as well as a VersaCAMM VS-540. “We saw the wrap trend coming, and we bought our first Roland DG.  Roland DG’s print quality is the best,” said Yepes.  “We’ve only used Roland DGs.”

Yepes invested in a Roland DG TrueVIS printer to increase his production capability with the latest print technology. “I always want to have the most versatile and advanced print technology in my shop,” said Yepes. “My best advertisement is my work – the quality and color we produce on our VG-540 are second to none and regularly get us new business.”

Graphics Options at Every Price Point
Affordable Signs and Wraps provides signage, banners, and wall and window wraps, in addition to lettering, and partial and full vehicle wraps.  They have also developed an affordable signature partial vehicle wrap which they call “26 Inches Down and Around.”

To guarantee quality output, Yepes relies exclusively on Roland DG inks.  “I am dedicated to providing my customers with a quality product, and for that we need inks that deliver consistent, quality results.

“If you have a nice sign shop with a good printer that delivers high quality prints, it’s like owning a money-making machine,” said Yepes. “If the economy does well, I’ll be fine – and if not, I’ll be fine too.”
