Roland DGA Hosts Dental Dealer Training for the Company's Award-Winning DWX CAD/CAM Dental Milling Machines

Roland authorized dental dealers from across the Americas gathered at Roland DGA headquarters in Irvine last week for the company's Roland Academy training course, a three-day event designed to train Roland dealers on DWX dental milling machines.

Twenty-five dealer representatives from the industry's top providers of CAD/CAM equipment attended the event, traveling from as far away as British Columbia and Peru to receive in-depth training on these powerful digital dentistry tools.

"We are honored that so many of our dealers took part in the training course, which prepares them to both market DWX mills and service them at the highest levels," said Brian Brooks, product manager for Roland DGA Corp. "Demand for our DWX line continues to grow as labs increasingly discover the benefits of the technology, including the ability to bring precision milling processes in-house for faster turnaround times and greater overall profitability."

Built on 20 years of proven Roland CNC technology, DWX mills bring affordability, ease of operation and precise milling capabilities to dental lab owners and technicians. Open architecture allows DWX milling machines to integrate with industry standard CAD/CAM software and hardware to produce crowns, copings, bridges and abutments from a range of materials, including zirconia, PMMA, wax and 3M ESPE's Lava™ Ultimate Restorative resin nano ceramic material. Two models are available: the advanced five-axis DWX-50 for volume production and jobs with high levels of complexity, and the more affordable and compact DWX-4, a four-axis dental milling system that comes complete with CAM software for on-demand milling of single crowns and small bridges.
