Control is built into the VG4 with a user-friendly, responsive 7" touchscreen that streamlines everyday operation. See remaining ink levels, printer status, print time, and more at the touch of a button. Once print conditions are set in the RIP, prints can be selected and sent directly from the printer.
Efficient Media Setup for High-quality Output
Accurate media setup is designed to support consistent, high-quality output with minimal adjustment. Stored media presets can be saved and recalled at the touch of a button, helping operators achieve repeatable results quickly across different materials and job types.

The VG4 Series is engineered to reduce operational steps and support efficient production management. After print conditions are set in VersaWorks, jobs can be selected and started from the printer’s 7" touch panel with the new Direct Print feature. Users can view VersaWorks queues on the touchscreen and send files to output - ideal when the printer and computer are in different rooms, or when quick reprints are needed. Roland DG Connect supports guided setup and remote checks to help maintain a stable output environment.

TR3 eco-solvent inks let you tailor your VG4 Series printer/cutter to your applications, from Dual CMYK for high productivity to expanded ink sets of up to eight colors for richer color, smoother gradients, and more accurate brand matching. TR3 ink configurations now include a new Red option, alongside Orange, Green, Light Black, and high-opacity White for window graphics and speciality output.
