BN2-20, BY-20, BD-8 Utility App not working in DG Connect
Síntoma
Steps to resolve issue where BN2, BY and BD-8 utility applications appear grayed out in DG Connect.
Solución
Issue: The BN2. BY. or BD-8 Utility application is grayed and does not work in DG Connect. 

Cause: The issue typically has two potential causes.
1. The user is running an old version of Roland DG Connect Hub. 
2. It is because the device is either asleep or located on a different network than the host computer.
3. It is due to Windows Defender (or another) firewall blocking the application. 

Resolutions:
1. Confirm that you are using the newest version of Roland DG Connect Hub. 
2. Make sure the printer is powered on and  located on the same network as the host computer (the computer with DG Connect Hub on it). If the application is still not connecting try waking the printer up (push the power button). 
3. Follow the instructions at
this link to confirm that your Windows Defender Firewall is configured properly.
