Rolandprintstudio: Can't Open RPC Connection Error
Symptom
Error message appers when trying to launch a printer driver. Message reads "Can't open RPC connection".
Cause
Connection to the driver was compromised.
Solution

Uninstall and reinstall the printer driver.

1. In the Application Bar go to "Settings" - "Printer Settings".
2. Select printer from the list and click "Stop Server" (if running).
3. Select printer the list and click "Uninstall". Follow prompts on screen.
4. Download the printer driver from www.rolandprintstudio.com.
5. Install printer driver (double-click on driver patch or right-click and open with Printstudio Patch). Follow onscreen prompts.
6. Restart Rolandprintstudio and the driver will be added to the Application Bar.
7. Launch the driver and send a print to test the connection.
