Cause
Your Roland device reached the end of it's product lifecycle before the release of Windows 7 and drivers were never created for this operating system.

Solution
Some Roland owners have found success trying to install the Windows 7 driver for the latest Roland device model (e.g - The Windows 7 driver for SV-15 to drive their SX-15). Other options include purchasing an older computer with a previous operating system or booting their Windows 7 operating system in XP mode.
