Media not holding down enough on the GS-24

I can see the material lifting up on the platen. Tracking issues.

Symptom
​I can see the material lifting up on the platen. Tracking issues.

Cause
​It might not have enough vacuum platen fan power with this heavier weighted material.

Solution
Press the menu button several times to display UNSETUP

Press the down arrow until you see OTHERS on the panel

Press right arrow

Press down arrow until you see VACUUMFAN AUTO

Press right arrow to enter that command

Using the up down arrow you can change the speed of the fan

1 is Weak and 5 is Strong. Or you can use the auto setting.

Auto Setting will increase or decrease the fan speed depending on the width of the material it senses. Narrow sheet will increase the fan speed. Full width material will decrease the fan speed.
