RotaPrint Requirement When Using an LEF2 Model Printer

Modifications to the LEF2 model printers are required when using the RotaPrint device.

For the RotaPrint to perform effectively, you will need to remove the front and rear UV Light Preventions bars. There is no need to amend anything, as the UV Prevention Plates are affixed by double-sided tape and can be easily removed.
 

Note: The bottom plate must be removed to allow the RotaPrint fixture to sit flush on the LEF2 base.
 

Removal of UV Light Prevention strips:

Use care when removing the Light Prevention Strips. Do not bend the strips. Using two hands, start with either end and slowly pull the strips away from the table. This will free up room for the RotaPrint to work properly. Store the adhesive strips in a clean area to protect them from dust and debris and allow for easy replacement upon completion of the RotaPrint functions.

Note: Both strips MUST be removed to allow the RotaPrint unit to work effectively. The UV Protection Strips MUST be put back on the table for normal use.
