My GX-24 has a cut down pressure issue and I noticed poor cutting quality.
Cause
Check the condition of the cutter protection strip (Teflon cutter pad). It might have some deep cuts or a gouge along the width of the pad.
Solution
Inspect the entire width of the cutter pad for any deep cuts. Replace with a new pad P/N 21545230 CUTTER PAD GX-24.
