Question
Why do I need to smooth out wrinkles? Will there be an issue if the garment has wrinkles in it?

Answer
Uneven print quality or triggering the optical height sensors.

You need to make sure the garment is laying flat prior to loading the cassette into the BT-12. Any extreme wrinkles will be sensed by the height sensors. Even smaller waves in the material could cause uneven print quality. The image might be blurry in sections. It is worth taking a little extra time to make sure it is flat and even run a pre-press operation using the HB-12 heater. That alone will help iron out any waves in the material.
