Question
Why is it so slow, compared with the VS and RE using same print heads?

Answer

This is a common misconception. The speed of an inkjet printer is determined by the width and the type of ink used to print. Compatibility with certain materials makes it difficult for the ink to completely adhere and print speeds are optimized for this drying process. Wider machines like the VS and RE print faster because the path of the print head allows time for the ink to dry properly. The BN-20 also has smaller components due to its size that don’t allow for fast print head speeds.
