Question
Why does the BN-20 take so long to ink up?
Answer
The BN-20 uses a single, 8-channel head and a single cap top to seal the ink system. During the ink up process, a vacuum is created to pull ink into the lines. If this vacuum is not equal through all ink lines, including the recirculation system, the print head can become damaged the entire ink system can become contaminated. To ensure proper operation and prolong the life of the printer, the install process must be followed exactly as instructed.
