The Manager of Dental Business is the leadership role for all dental activities at DGA. Working through the DGSHAPE Americas dental team and reporting to the Director of Sales at DGA, this role is responsible for the management of sales, marketing, product management and service personnel dedicated to the growth of revenue and the DGSHAPE brand in the Americas.

The position requires a strong understanding of leadership and mentoring of staff, as well as an excellent working knowledge of the dental marketplace, workflows, emerging technologies and both competitive and complementary products. This role works through the DGSHAPE Americas team to develop strategies for sales, marketing, and support. They are the primary communication conduit between DGSHAPE Americas team and the rest of DGA. The Manager will be responsible for identifying and commercializing locally sourced products and accessories that are complementary to DGSHAPE’s existing offerings. 

Due to the rapidly evolving nature of the DGSHAPE dental business, the Manager will be required to maintain constant, effective communication with the DGSHAPE global team based in both the US and Japan. Ongoing reporting on trends in the Americas market, competitor activities, and important industry news should be included in this communication.

The position has a high level of travel.

Establish and manage Roland DGA’s dental team, consisting of sales, product management, market and support personal. 
Be accountable for the performance and professionalism of DGA’s dental team
Provide guidance to the team in all aspects of the business. Delegate tasks and set policy.
Communication between staff and DGA management.
Understand the dental market in the Americas and be able to provide thoughtful ideas to drive brand awareness, efficiency and revenue growth. 
Manage P&L of the group to meet the requirements of DGA.


Monthly, Quarterly and Annual DGA dental sales revenue and GP.
Annual expense management
Communication and accountability through employee reviews.
Effective management of DGA DGSHAPE Business Group



Proven leadership and management skills with cross functional teams including both technical and commercial personnel

Working knowledge of dental CAD/CAM digital workflow equipment and markets.
Understanding of dental restoration materials and their uses.
Understanding of the dental market in the Americas

5+ Years in the dental industry in a sales, marketing, product management, or general management position
5+ Years managing direct and/or indirect reports

Ability to prepare business letters, proposals, summaries, and reports using prescribed format and conforming to all rules of punctuation, grammar, diction, and style.
Ability to conduct training, communicate at panel discussions and to make professional presentations.
