West Coast Choppers Meets NASCAR

West Coast Choppers TV star Jesse James sure can pick a winner. In 2006, he sponsored Jesse’s Girl – a history-making racecar driven by Candace Muzny. In the Late Model Division at the Irwindale Speedway, Muzny was the first female driver to finish in the top ten and the first to win the Hard Charger Award.

The car was a super-fast, one-of-a-kind Dodge Charger. Its look was intimidating, hip and feminine all at the same time. Famous for creating custom bikes, West Coast Choppers brought all three elements together flawlessly. Once the design was complete, James handed the project over to Eric Goodwin of Garage Graphics to produce print, cut and install the graphics. Needless to say, the team put the job in good hands.

Garage Graphics, the sign shop of choice for many of West Coast Choppers’ biggest projects, used a Roland 54” printer/cutter with MAX ink to cover the Jesse’s Girl car with the custom art, countless sponsor logos and Muzny’s famous number 07.

“Jesse’s Girl was a lot of fun,” Goodwin said. “We got the all-black car and a CD loaded with images. A few hours later, it looked like one hot racecar. Everything came out looking awesome!”

Goodwin’s “garage” produces the vehicle art for about 30 cars every year at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas. His work has also made numerous appearances on the Pimp My Ride and Monster Garage television shows.
